The Cane & Rush Workshop ​​is a professional, family-run chair and furniture weaving business based in Holbury, Hampshire, that covers all woven furniture repair, replacement and restoration services. 

​As well as repairing cane and rush chair seats, the traditional way, we also offer a wide range of other woven seat replacement & restorations including Danish cord, paper rush, straw overlap, centre cane, riempie and close cane work, to name but a few.

Russell has been working with trade, private collections and

the general public for over 22 years.  With a passion for all

the items of furniture he is commissioned to restore, you

can rest assured that every piece is handled with the utmost

care and respect. 

 

Using only the finest materials available, and applying 

proven artisan techniques, nothing leaves the

workshop until it is completed to the highest standard of

craftsmanship.
